What is Village security like?
Our villages are designed with security in mind and to this end:
All of which create a higher sense of security.
We ask that if you have any concerns about security that you discuss it with Village Admin as soon as possible.
All home owners are issued with a remote access control or personal access card. To maintain security, the remote or personal access cards are only for the use of home owners, unless Village Admin have been notified. A register of all remotes and card numbers is held by Village Admin.
Additional remote controls or personal access cards may be purchased from Village Admin. These access devices will be for gate access only and the users will be added to the register.
Remote controls are battery operated and we recommend you change your remote battery annually or as required. Lost, damaged or worn-out remote controls or access cards are the responsibility of the Lifestyler.
Front gate access
In most villages, you can view the front gate via your television and can open the gate from your phone. Any replacement or repairs are the responsibility of the Lifestyler.
Emergency
It is also worth noting that in the event of an emergency, a 1300 emergency number is made available to all Lifestylers. The number is monitored by a call centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by trained staff. They will contact the appropriate person depending upon the emergency - be it an emergency service or one of our staff members.
