
The standard of the over 100 works was exceptionally high and we are proud to announce the winners of the three sections for judging:
Section 1, Works on Canvas (Acquisitive): Joint Winners of $2,500 prize money each - 'The Paddock' by Malcolm Lindsay, and 'Golden Embrace' by Felicia Lowe.
Section 2, Works on Paper (Acquisitive): $3,000 prize money - 'Flooded Gums' by Mikaela Castledine.
Section 3, Three-Dimensional Works (Acquisitive): $3,000 prize money - 'Spring' by Thomas Heidt.
Highly Commended (Acquisitive at Catalogue prices): Lyn Lee, Karen Seaman, Christina Cairns, Moira Court, Vanessa Curley, Valerie McDonald, Marianne Penberthy, and Judy Rogers.
The National Lifestyle Villages' Annual Art Award supports the visual arts in localities our Villages operate in, ensuring we create and build a collection of contemporary art to enhance and contribute to the social and environmental sustainability within our Villages and the wider community.
Thank you to all artists who have entered and exhibited. We are particularly impressed wtih the high calibre of artworks entered and their intepretation of the theme: A Southwest Experience.
