A new $2 million Clubhouse and facilities at Vibe Baldivis, one of National Lifestyle Village's latest communities, was the location for a Aussie bush-style celebration, on Saturday, 9th May 2009.
Southern Cross Bush Band, Taylor's horse-drawn carriage rides, and the Wudumbah Aboriginal Dance Group provided fantastic entertainment for the 500+ people that attended the day.
A fantastic mobile animal farm, Incredible Creatures, was a big hit with children and adults alike, many of whom offered owner Nigel money to take home his adorable green and blue eyed kitten.
A big thank you to Rockingham City Mayor Mr Barry Sammels for officiating the opening ceremony.
A free morning tea and BBQ lunch was popular with the regular beef sausages accompanied by kangaroo and emu steaks and skewers, in keeping with the Aussie bush theme.
The picturesque rural setting of Vibe Baldivis conveniently located at 96 Sixty-Eight Road just minutes from the convenience, services, facilities and shopping amenities of the Rockingham and Baldivis City Centres.
The Kwinana Freeway is around the corner as is the Perth-Mandurah rail line.
The first residents of Vibe Baldivis moved in just before Christmas and already 53 lifestylers call the affordable, holiday-style Village home.
"With the price of our homes starting at an incredible $145,000 moving to Vibe Baldivis makes a lot of sense," National Lifestyle Village's CEO Mike Hollett said.
