Innovative home designs set a new standard at coastal village

National Lifestyle Villages will unveil a collection of new cutting edge display homes at its Open Day on Saturday October 29, 2011, between 11am and 2pm.

The three homes, called the Broadwater, the Kealy and the Wonnerup epitomize a new level in innovative design and aesthetics from the company’s range of modular residences built by its affiliate company, EcoFit Homes.

The homes are a contemporary and geometric alternative to the village’s “cottage-style” designs, with each built to two-bedroom and one-bathroom with two-WC configurations.

Intentionally designed with the provision of large front entertaining areas and timber decked rear outdoor areas, the attractive addition of raked ceilings in the lounge and dining areas optimize natural airflow and create a greater sense of space and open plan living in the passive-solar designed homes.

A soft coastally-inspired external colour palate adds to the homes’ overall appeal.

The free-to-entry Open Day will include a sausage sizzle, entertainment, wine tastings, a prize-draw, face painting for the kids and tours of the display village and facilities. Residents, as is standard in previous events, will proudly open their homes, inviting guests in for an authentic preview of life inside a village home.

There are currently around 80 new homes and around 10 established homes available at the 229 site village.
