Many years ago when I was a young spotty Herbert trying to eke out a living as an apprentice Butcher, I espied a 1958 Royal Enfield with a full dolphin fairing for sale.
The sale price was £109.

So I scrimped and saved until I raised the requisite £29 deposit.

I attended the Bike shop with my Dad, as he was going security on my purchase.

And as this was in the days of the Mods and Rockers. and I was wearing the Leather Legs, Leather Jacket and a Black Helmet with “THOR” in gold Gothic script on the front.
